Can We Talk About How Fast Major Spoilers Hit YouTube? I swear, the most annoying thing about watching a TV show these days is waiting for a new episode to drop, only to have the biggest moment spoiled instantly. Like clockwork, the second the episode airs, there’s already some random YouTube account uploading a 3-minute clip titled ” GOES INSANE!!! EPIC MOMENT (FULL HD]” sitt…
Did anyone make a better Pandemic episode than Mythic Quest? I’m pretty late to the party on virtually every show, but I finally caught the MQ lockdown episode. I’d seen it lauded, which is what led to me starting the series. But holy smokes. I don’t think any other media has captured the vibe of uncertainty in the early pandemic. I didn’t watch the episode until 2025, but I’m not really sure anyone can c…

Banshee PC monitors So in the lack of anything else I started watching Banshee from season 1. In the first episode they are in a room with some computers that has transparent PC monitors, what does this mean? That the story is set in the future? The rest of the story/episods has nothing indicating it is set in the future. submitted by /u/Fatsea
Shows acknowledging that something done in a previous story that was treated as good or no big deal was actually pretty bad if you think about it Sometimes, a show will have a character do something that is treated as being a good thing or no big deal, but viewers see it as something horrible if you think about it just a little, either at the time it was aired or years later once society’s morals have changed. And sometimes, as a direct response to this reaction, the show itself will ackn…
What are shows which would do well had they been released now in the age of streaming I recently started the Blacklist with James Spader and enjoyed his performance as Reddington however I’m not committing to a show which is 22 episodes per season at 10 seasons. I feel the core of the show is great but too many fillers and the rest of the cast except Harry Lenix is average. It’s a show I feel would however do quite well if it was…
Common Side Effects is surprisingly good My wife doesn’t like cartoons. No Rick and Morty, no anime, no Family Guy. She was very intrigued by this one, I suspect because we both like the conspiracy-theory-vibe of things like X-Files. I don’t see anyone in my circles talking about this, and it’s so good that I want it to succeed so here I am posting about it! submitted by /u/tas…
‘Clean Slate’ was originally pitched by George Wallace to Norman Lear as a ‘Sanford & Son’ reboot. Lear told him “Are you kidding? You can’t do that show. Get a twist and come back.” submitted by /u/Gato1980
Apple Cider Vinegar on Netflix I binged this series the other day and enjoyed it. There’s a lot more depth to the story than I expected and without spoiling anything there is a fictional throughline that is actually very beautiful in addition to the true stories being told. Today, I decided to start the series again because I was sure there were some things I missed the first…

Kaitlyn Dever appreciation post Wow, I’ve adored this young actress since “Unbelievable”; and all her subsequent and previous work. Currently watching “Apple Cider Vinegar” and what the!?!? How did she nail the Australian accent (I’m Aussie) AND become Belle Gibson?! Just such admirable work on her part. Bravo Kaitlyn submitted by /u/winstonjames
Never realized how horrible sound mixing is in modern shows until my subtitles weren’t working. Wife and I are starting Paradise on Hulu and the subtitles aren’t working. I legit can understand maybe 75% of what they are saying because the mixing is so bad. Just a garbled mess. submitted by /u/DarwinF1nch
