Do the first two notes of the Starwars Cantina Music go from low to high, or high to low? (Read description) So for whatever reason me and my boyfriend are at odds about the sound of the cantina music. To me, it sounds like it starts low, and goes up and goes down and goes back up before it continues on with the song, but my boyfriend INSISTS he’s hearing something different. He says it starts on the high note and goes DOWN. We listened to like 15 diff…

How do you feel about D’yer Mak’er?

How do you feel about D’yer Mak’er? I’ve read that Houses of the Holy copped some pretty negative reviews when it was released, and D’yer Mak’er was singled out for criticism. I’ve also read that Bonzo despised it. Which is funny given the drumming is so good on it. I’ve got to admit it’s unlike anything else Led Zeppelin released, at least that I’ve heard. Reggae?! But I never sk…

Does it mean anything, or is it just a marketing term for customers at Hot Topic? submitted by /u/A00077

Bassist Lead Singers

Bassist Lead Singers As a baby Gen X’er, I am familiar with a lot of ’80s music, but not as familiar with it as those that were older and really into it at that time. So please forgive me my ignorance when I say I just realized that Sting played the bass guitar in The Police. Offhand, I am not aware of any other lead singers in bands that play bass guitar. If they p…
