Is the chandelier supposed to be off-center?

Is the chandelier supposed to be off-center? Chandelier is off-center in room. To the right is a through-way to the living room and kitchen. If the table is under the chandelier, there is a walkable-hallway amount of room to navigate, but it sort of makes the space feel tight, and then on the opposite side there is a ton of room. Is it supposed to be this way and would I regret moving it? …

Tapestry in the Bathroom

Tapestry in the Bathroom I’m moving into a new house, and I’m going to have my own bathroom, and want to spice it up a bit. I was wondering if it would be ok to hang a tapestry up on one of the bathroom walls? Would it get all moldy or worn out or anything like that? submitted by /u/8Ball-Lohman

I also got a couch in case I wanted to host people or just be comfortable somewhere that isn’t my bed. As soon as it arrived I was like oh god, this blue doesn’t match the rug at all. I’m in too deep, this is my second year…

Potentially buying a house that only has one living space (no sitting or dining room). At a loss for how to rearrange the room to feel good Here is a video of the house. Aside from the Extremely drab finishings and cheap vinyl flooring (and they PAINTED the fire place), the house layout for the living area is not ideal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eih2cPWb-fQ Everyone’s first thought is to knock out the kitchen wall and make it a grand room. This incurs two problems IMO: 1) Whe…

Trying to fill this wall in my bedroom, but something feels off.

Trying to fill this wall in my bedroom, but something feels off. Can’t pinpoint what’s off with this settup. Thinking hanging the mirror may be better? Or a rectangular mirror (pictured) horizontally with a bench (pictured) under it? The plant may be too large for the space, also debating just changing out plant for a shorter one (pictured). Would like to add wall art, but i think that would make the space lo…
