Do I need to Upgrade to a Full Frame Sensor, or get a better APSC?

Do I need to Upgrade to a Full Frame Sensor, or get a better APSC? Hello, Warning: Wall of text. TL;DR at the bottom. I’ve been doing amateur photography as a personal hobby for about 8 years now (granted, there was a 2-3 year break in there). I’ve also been paid for photos on the rare occasion. In the last year I’ve pretty heavily gotten back into photography. I’ve been using a Rebel T6 with the stock 18-55mm …

Analysis Paralysis? Too many cameras, too many choices – Help! OK, so I’m not new to photography (I’ve had Canon and Nikon DSLRs in the past), but I’ve been away from photography for a while, so let’s pretend I’m a beginner who want to focus on photography, but video would be nice to have. I currently own a Sony RX100VA: it takes great pics, but despite having tiny…

Shooting frontlit group photos without squint eyes?

Shooting frontlit group photos without squint eyes? Hey, Few times recently I’ve had to shoot a group picture, where the client wants whatever in the background, forcing the angle to be front lit, so the sun is in everybody’s eyes, and they all squint for the photo, especially if I’m higher than them (on a ladder etc). What’s the best way around this? Everyone closing their eyes then opening them…

Is the Fuji XM5 a good upgrade from the Canon R50? Mainly for street photography?

Is the Fuji XM5 a good upgrade from the Canon R50? Mainly for street photography? I have a Canon R50 with an RF28 f2.8, and I’m looking to go with the Fujifilm XM5 (Kitlens) now just for a change and have a go at the Film Simulations. Would this be a good upgrade or are they basically in the same category/level, and it would just be a “Sidegrade”. submitted by /u/tjeco

Is constant aperture really that important for still shooting?

Is constant aperture really that important for still shooting? I wanted to buy a nice used lens to replace my kit lens on my 600d. I do often find myself in low light situations, so I often have to use the flash to assist a little or switch to a 50 1.8 prime. I have one of those 18-55 f3.5-5.6 full plastic lenses, so any of the lens options would be better than it. Here are the ones I found: Canon EF-S 17-5…

A6000 with kit lens for around 475 or should I hash out the extra money and just for a Z5 with their 24-50mm?

A6000 with kit lens for around 475 or should I hash out the extra money and just for a Z5 with their 24-50mm? Currently getting more into photography. Specifically car photography but will also take pictures when I’m out and about(park, in the city, trips). edit: I should add that I’m just doing photography casually and nothing too serious. I do plan on picking up a better zoom lense for either one in the future. submitted by /u/Cowboy_978

Just bought an AD200 Pro from B&H, what modifier to buy to get to achieve lighting like this? Hi all! Saw a really good deal so I had to finally pull the trigger and now I’m waiting for it to arrive!
