On camera LED light for added light?

On camera LED light for added light? Hi all, Looking to add some light to our not so well lit living room for Christmas morning photos. I have a new Canon R50 with the Sigma 18-50. I don’t have a flash, but was wondering if something like this would assist in lighting for photos at all or if it would be a waste of money. submitted by /u/lilmanjonny

Am I violating copyright by drawing people’s wedding/ engagement photos?

Am I violating copyright by drawing people’s wedding/ engagement photos? Hi! So I am an artist who does commissioned portraits of both pets and people. A lot of the photos people ask me to draw are clearly professional photos, while others clearly taken on an iPhone by themselves, other photos may be less clear one way or another. Is there an issue with painting or drawing, say, a wedding photo? This hadn’t been some…

Custom dropshipping print business? Ive been doing photography for a while now I’ve always tried to find a good site to build a site and sell my prints. My options always came to mass sites with loads of other photographers, etsy, or other complex websites. As I was working on a business idea I came across another better idea. Problem with Godox X2T trigger?

Problem with Godox X2T trigger? I’m using Godox X2T on-camera with PC sync cable to an external flash. The external flash fires fine when I press the test button. Also the X2T successfully triggers upon capture (flash light blinks red same as when you test flash) but the X2T doesn’t trigger the external flash via PC sync/audio submitted by /u/International-Bear52

Unfocused images – Is it my aperture or am I not steady handed?

Unfocused images – Is it my aperture or am I not steady handed? Hi everyone, I’ve just started shooting analoge film (on a Pentax K1000) and am still trying to understand aperture settings. I understand the theory of aperture mostly…however most of the shots on my recent roll came out looking really unfocused. I was shooting on Kodak Gold 400 and mostly I kept to an aperture of 16-22 (changing shutter spe…

Keep or sell Nikon D3500?

Keep or sell Nikon D3500? Apologies if this isn’t the right place to ask this. My wife and I were gifted a D3500 several years ago as a wedding gift, and it’s mostly been sitting in its carrying case in the closet since then. What I’m trying to understand is if taking the time to learn the different modes/settings of this camera and some basic post processing skills is …

Focus problems with a Nikon? I used to have a Sony a6100 and never had any focus problems. But last year I switched to a Nikon z6 and it just can’t focus properly. I can have a person in the dead-centre of the frame and it will focus on the background or another person off to the side. I’m constantly using the touch screen or OK button to refocus every 3-5 seconds. Just ba…

Best way to scan photos and negatives? I am interested in scanning and restoring photos and negatives. Most are 35mm from the late 1980’s and 1990’s, but I have older photos as well. I am interested in quality and the learning curve for the software. My daughter died from cancer 14 months ago, and I want to digitalize everything to have a back up. ( www.reddit.com )

Upgrading my equipment from a (14 yr old) Canon T3i. Help? I have a question. My research is done and I have settled on a Full Frame Mirrorless.
