People are sleeping on 100 Years of Solitude I read 100 Years of Solitude a while back and had no idea how it would be possible to adapt into a tv series but Netflix did it. One of the best adaptations I’ve ever seen and honestly a near perfect season of TV. Everyone should check it out. submitted by /u/TheMineEmerald

What show comes to mind when you hear “Previously on…”

What show comes to mind when you hear “Previously on…” For me it was Fringe. Absolutely adored that series and was bummed when it was canceled. I don’t think I’ve ever been as invested with a show the way I was with Fringe. Being a Star Trek Dan, it was a real treat to see Leonard Nimoy being a part of it. Of course Water was my favorite character. submitted by /u/rumbletumblecrumble …

Episodes which were traumatic I was rewatching Squid Game and what other episodes of TV shows are as trauma filled as the ONE STEP CLOSER (the episode they play dice). Episodes that just ended and left you shook or drained. submitted by /u/ImpossibleSherbet722

For instance, Sarah Michelle Gellar was terrific in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (see: the Season 1 finale), but other projects she’s been in – The Crazy Ones, Star Wars Rebels, etc. haven’t really shown off her talents as well. submitted by /u/TheNerdChaplain

What are some instances of the cast/crew of a show accidentally publicly spoiling the upcoming season?

What are some instances of the cast/crew of a show accidentally publicly spoiling the upcoming season? This question randomly popped into my head. What are some times this happened, like through social media posts or during interviews for example. One instance I can think of (Better Call Saul spoilers): Bob Odenkirk posted a selfie with Patrick Fabian who had fake blood in his hair! They’d just filmed his death scene. This of course fueled specu…

Analyzing the flaws of “The Good Place”s ending

Analyzing the flaws of “The Good Place”s ending This will be a philosophical approach to what I see as an unsatisfying representation of infinity showcased in the sitcom The Good Place’s final episode, elaborated from a Hegelian perspective. Needless to say, there’ll be spoilers. Short introduction to the show: protagonists are in the afterlife and must solve the problem that Heaven (The Good…
