Who’s a couple that has been in movies/shows together? Who’s a couple that has been in movies/shows together? TV Shows with the most amount of series finales?

TV Shows with the most amount of series finales? For example, Futurama has “ended” multiple times with episodes intended to be the final ones, but the show keeps coming back. I don’t mean shows that get cancelled multiple times but keep coming back, but shows making an episode with the intention that it could be the last ever and actually feeling like it. submitted by /u/llloksd …

What are some great examples of Easter Eggs or breaking the fourth wall?

What are some great examples of Easter Eggs or breaking the fourth wall? When I watch tv I love to enjoy the program as that is the main reason why I am watching, but I also love to see clever details. Sometimes I’m not the most observant so I’m wondering if you can find any examples that really stand out. I know someone on a daytime soap somehow managed to incorporate a “Will You Marry Me______” into an episode. Ano…

Bo Burnham appears to be staging a comeback?

Bo Burnham appears to be staging a comeback? After years of his avoiding the public spotlight, it seems like Bo Burnham is cooking up his return. On January 11, a TikTok account named Robert Burnham (@/destroyarasaka) appeared out of nowhere, posting six brief videos, five of which appear to be previously unseen takes from his 2020 special Inside (I am not a Burnham expert, but I am confid…

Watching shows that were never meant to be interrupted with ads

Watching shows that were never meant to be interrupted with ads Is anyone else finding it jarring to watch a show with ad breaks that was never meant to have ad breaks. Ive noticed it more since Amazon prime started playing ads with its content. They will hard cut to black then ads will start usually right after a scene but sometimes right in the middle. Television shows with planned commercials would always…

Stopped watching “The Pitt” after a doc allowed a patient to self-administer a very dangerous narcotic at their discretion. In order to bypass censors, the drug begins with “d” and ends with “did”. If you only knew how addictive and dangerous that drug is. Hopefully the doc monitors her respiration rate after letting the patient use the narcotic at their own discretion. The show is essentially the sequel to “e.r.” but I don’t think it will garner another huge following since a lot of viewers will be googling the meds and procedures used in…

With Creature Commandos finishing, I think it would have benefited more from a binge release schedule than from a weekly episode drop I finished Creature Commandos this past week, and I found the ending pretty… disappointing? It left a lot more questions than answers in a not-so-satisfying way after all of that buildup, to the point where I don’t really know if I can recommend it to anyone. If it had released all at once, yeah, the ending may still have sucked, but I could e…

The Day of The Jackal is one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. Not normally a huge Eddie Redmayne character but his performance was up there with Colin Farrell for one of the best I’ve seen in TV the past 4 or 5 years.

The Day of The Jackal is one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. Not normally a huge Eddie Redmayne character but his performance was up there with Colin Farrell for one of the best I’ve seen in TV the past 4 or 5 years. It’s very hard to pull off these spy thrillers, but Jackal to me is one of the best since bodyguard with Richard Madden. Love how they updated the book and the original movie and all of these scenarios and kills felt inventive. I also love that Lashana Lynch’s character is almost slightly annoying in the series and that while they show two sides…
