For those who enjoyed Anna Sawai on Shogun, she’s also in another great show called Pachinko She’s a supporting character on Pachinko, but the whole cast is so strong (Youn Yuh-Jung, the Oscar winner from Minari, plays a major role). It’s also one of the most emotional shows out there right now, deeply heartbreaking and heartwarming, often within the same episode. Just finished watching Devs and wow…. Super surprised that I had never heard of it. Just wandered upon it on disney plus. Love Alex Garland’s other stuff like Sunshine and Annhilation. Also big Nick Offerman fan. With the massive AI arms race going on today this show seems even more apropos than when it came out in 2020. Discuss?!? submitted by /u/ketamarine
