New to Social Media Strategy

New to Social Media Strategy Hey all! I’m a videographer by trade, and most videography jobs now are really social media manager positions. I’ve landed one at a car dealership, not because social media strategy was what I was trying to get in to, but because they’re the only video production jobs out there right now. All this to say, I’m trying to learn social media marketi…

Are any of the major platforms actually bad?

Are any of the major platforms actually bad? So I use all the major ones, Twitter (X,) Instagram, Facebook. I happen to think they are all bad but instagram is probably the cleanest. I used to think it was twitter but now it’s not. Anyways, I realize that although I think they’re all bad, it could be generational bias (it used to be better in the good ole days), could be that any change is…

It is an absolute outrage that 3rd Rock from the Sun isn’t streaming anywhere for people to discover Other than buying episodes on Apple or Amazon, 3rd Rock isn’t anywhere else. Not on Hulu, not on Peacock, not on Netflix- this is OUTRAGEOUS! Don’t they know we have been awaiting a message from the Big Giant Head now for decades! That is all. Proceed with your day, miserable humans. submitted by /u/MeaninglessGuy

Just finished Vice Principals because of recommendations from this sub…am I alone in thinking it’s not anywhere near as good as Eastbound and Down and The Righteous Gemstones? I was a bit disappointed tbh. The laughs per minute were very low, and the plot was just okay. it was still a solid show but within the context of watching it after seeing Danny McBrides other 2 shows first, my expectations were very high and it did not meet them. submitted by /u/trey1928

Under the radar covers

Under the radar covers I just recently found Billie Joe Armstrong’s cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now” and really enjoyed it. It had me thinking about how did I miss it, and what other great covers are out there that are flying under the radar for most, considering how well known Billie Joe is… . Probably by complete unknowns How did you find your favorite “under th…

I Busted My Ass For A Year To Make An Authentic 80’s (and 90s) Radio Station

I Busted My Ass For A Year To Make An Authentic 80’s (and 90s) Radio Station I wanted to create a radio station with a true nostalgic feeling. How did I do this? By having actual retro jingles and retro movie quotes between songs. That way the station makes you feel like you are actually in the era! My station plays the lost music that is often forgotten by the major retro stations too. Anyway, if you want to check it ou…
