Getting a small inheritance. Put it into the house or put it in retirement? Age 53. The inheritance is less than $50,000. I think it's smarter to put it into the house because I'm very concerned about getting my house paid off before I retire. Does anyone disagree? Interest rate on the home loan is about 3.5%. I currently owe about 375k.
