Please help me understand 401k My 401k thru Empowerment has the options of -before tax contribution -Roth contribution -after tax contribution I’ve been doing after tax. But I honestly don’t know what any of it means. I don’t understand retirement in the slightest. Can someone DUMB it down for me and give me advice?
