LPT: When booking a hotel, call the front desk directly (not the reservation line) and politely ask if they can offer a better rate. They often will give discounts or perks not listed online. Many hotels have some leeway to offer lower prices or free upgrades ( and more ).if you call the front desk directly. This works best during times where there aren't a lot of people. or when the hotel isn’t fully booked. Remember to be as nice as you can be .
