Cash, debit or credit for large purchase in Europe? I’m traveling to Greece from the US next month and am planning on making a large purchase there (4,000 Euros). What would be the best method of payment to use? The vendor accepts Master/Visa Card or cash. Whether I use my card or currency exchange am I pretty much stuck paying the 3% conversion fee?
