how long do you have to be somewhere new to say you “lived” there? I have studied abroad, been an au pair, moved & lived in many different places, all for varying degrees of time. When I talk about my semester (4 months) in Costa Rica, I say I lived there. And when I talk about my summer session (5 weeks) in Ireland, I also say I lived there, too, and so on. What do you think constitutes moving to a new place? ...
