15.5 hr United flight vs 18.5 hr JAL flight (Chicago -> Tokyo) I am going to be traveling to Japan in a few months and haven't flown internationally. However, I've heard that JAL and ANA are a lot better than US carriers. The two options in the title are about the same price, but I'm wondering if the additional time (due to a longer layover) from the Japan Airlines flight is worth it over the united flight....
