IRS sent me a letter that says "Statement Showing Interest Income from the Internal Revenue Service", where does the interest get paid to? I got a letter from the IRS saying "Statement Showing Interest Income from the Internal Revenue Service" which I understand to meant that they owe me money. The total interest was $16.22, but I checked all my bank accounts and do not see this amount anywhere. Where do they normally pay it out to? thanks!
