Is a photo taken on a 50mm, f1.8 prime lens (taken at f2.8) identical to a photo taken on a 24-70mm, f2.8 zoom lens (taken at 50mm)? I am getting a deal on a Sigma 24-70mm f2.8, but I am used to a 50mm prime. Will the zoom lens give me similar functionality as my prime for apertures till f2.8? Edit: Some more context.
