1099-r, unsure of box 7 I needed to withdraw some of my Roth IRA contributions. I did not withdraw any earnings. I got a 1099-r from Vanguard that has distribution code J. When I go to enter this in my tax software, it is also asking for a number that describes the distribution. What number do I enter for this?
