Are insect repelents geographically universal? This may be a bit of a weird question but are mosquito/insect repelents universal across the planet, or is it better to buy something locally? I'm specifically travelling from Europe to Latin America and Carribean. I assume that local insect has some genetic variation between continents but I'm not sure whether this impacts how they react to var...
