I am just starting to plan and save for retirement, but I am 61! Where do I start? All my life I did just enough to get by, I never had any savings, IRA or 401k or even life insurance. Now my life is changing on a dime. I am selling my business for $350,000 as a lump sum and they acquiring company is hiring me at double the salary I was making before (60k). Where to I start? I figure I should get an IRA and contribute to 401k...
