Convert 529 to CalABLE for child with disabilities?
Convert 529 to CalABLE for child with disabilities? Is there a disadvantage to converting a 529 account to a CalABLE account? My 10 year old may or may not be college bound. From what I can tell, a CalABLE account can be used for tuition and many other things - it has much broader use of funds, and we do not need to include it as our “assets”.
