Can debt follow you if you move to another country?
Can debt follow you if you move to another country? I have a buddy who had nearly 20k in credit card debt and 40k in student loans. He moved to Greenland and he hasn't paid any of his debt since before the pandemic. The man has a house, car, and 2 kids. He forgot he even had debt in the US. Should he be worried or is it a loop hole?
