Can I ask the immigration officer for an entry stamp?
Can I ask the immigration officer for an entry stamp? I know that quite a lot of countries have gotten rid of entry/exit stamps, but I personally love collecting them, filling my passport with stamps brings me gratification. So if I am traveling to a country where they no longer do stamps, can I ask for one? If so, how should I ask and does anyone have any experience with that? Particularly with SF...
