Dumb to get a condo as a “starter home” to build equity? Hi there, I live in a VHCOL area and my wife and I have a good amount saved up but no where near enough to buy a legit 3BR home that we’d love forever (they start at ~700k). Would it be smart to buy a small condo NOW and start building equity or just rent for the next 3+ years, save a ton, and then dump all of our savings into an actual home? Ba...
