I will most likely have to replace the transmission on my car. I don't have anywhere close to the money on hand right now and need it fixed asap. Is a personal loan worth it? My car broke down on the highway 2.5 hours away from home and the dashboard said it was a transmission issue. These can be up to $5000+ repairs and I just simply don't have that kind of money right now so i'm looking at. I'm only a year and a half into my 5 year loan so just taking the loss and getting a new vehicle isn't really possible either....
