Is it worth going to Thailand in August? Hi, everybody. My dad and I want to go to Thailand for the first time this summer. Most of his paid vacation days are in August, so that's the only time we can realistically go. We want to go for 2 weeks - Bangkok - Ko Samui (+ island hopping from there). I know August is the wet season, but how bad is it actually? As in bad enough for the rain ...
