I cannot justify home ownership anymore… At this point I really don’t believe it’s a good financial decision at all… I can rent a great apartment in a perfect location for less than 2k/mo and yet I can’t buy a house with a monthly payment less than 2.7k/month… Tack on maintenance, taxes, and a 7% interest rate and anything I gain in my investment accounts is basically equaled out.
