Anyone having trouble with the laminate in the new UK passport? I arrived in BKK today with my shiny new UK passport and almost had it rejected by immigration. The laminate ID page has a bunch of thin lines on it in a pattern (kinda like water reeds), and a bunch of these go over the bottom half of the passport photo. They're quite dark.
