LPT: How I got past the tipping conundrum - tip a dollar Like many folks I was a little flummoxed by being tip dunned at every turn. If it’s one of those questionable scenarios I just tip a dollar. This avoids the nothing tip and a dollar is a negligible amount. If it’s a deserved tip scenario, then my standard is 20-30%
