LPT the requirement of slowing down near schools is not only in case there are kids walking nearby, it's also to let parents out into traffic so the teachers don't have to stand in the Sun or rain all day waiting for traffic to allow the parent line to move. Way too many people speed past the cars trying to enter the road and then slow down after not letting anyone out. That's actually worse than if you just fed past the whole thing. I'm pleading with people please always let at least one parent go from the school line.
