What is a good first camera for a birder (and what vendor should I buy it from)? Dear Ask Photography: I'm an avid birder and am thinking about getting a first camera to try my hand at some bird photography. I don't want to break the bank (no more than a couple hundred dollars). I was hoping some people in this community might have advice about appropriate models and reliable vendors. Thank you in advance!
