Dad passed. I’m the executor and joint owner of his bank accounts. Am I allowed to sign his checks to pay his taxes?
Dad passed. I'm the executor and joint owner of his bank accounts. Am I allowed to sign his checks to pay his taxes? Am I allowed to write/sign his checks and add "(executor and POA)"? He owed a lot in taxes and the easiest way is if it can come directly from his bank account.
