Question about film camera and apparently incompatible/too high flash voltage. Could you please advise? I have a Leica MP. This is a metered camera but I never have a battery in so no meter. I have a Nikon SB900 flash. Generally I read that this flash voltage is much too high for Leica camera electronics and will fry the camera. Question is, if there is no electricity running through the camera from lack of battery, will it still kill the camera...
