what can I use instead of foundation? I don’t like the effect on my skin, I use bb cream but I never find a suitable color :(

I don’t like the effect on my skin, I use bb cream but I never find a suitable color 🙁 I don't like foundations because they are always too much on my skin, what can I use? can I just use concealer? I usually use bb cream to cover small skin discolourations and a bit of hyperpigmentation around the lips
