5 days: Nature in April in NE USA? My sister and I fly into NYC in mid-April. I hoped to get out of town and really wanted a road trip to Maine. But she's adamant that 50°F and 15mph winds are too cold and will make her miserable. She also wants less driving. Not much I can do about that… What are alternatives within a 4-hour drive from NYC? (Or better yet, with public transit.) ...
