What cliffhanger or season finale actually got an audible 'wtf' out of you? For me it was Oberyns death in Game of Thrones, I remember just being in a state of shock. The way Ellaria just screams in the background. And the camera just cuts to her reaction of uttter fear and disbelief. D&D at one point in time were true masters of the cliffhanger and at building suspense.
