Selling an empty lot, taxes Hi combined income of $98k married. If we sell an empty lot for $50k, how much taxes could we expect to pay on the $50k? Don’t know if it matters, we live in NJ and the empty lot is in Phila Pa and the $50k includes all fees etc etc. We would walk out with $50k. Thanks!
