Avis car rental scam at Puerto Rico airport (SJU) Pre-paid for my Avis car rental via third-party ($180) and at SJU, was asked to directly pick up the car from the lot since I’m a preferred customer. Told the guy that I won’t be filling in gas on the return. Anyway, I drop off the car with the tank half empty and return home to see a $280 charge on my card.
