If Employer Advertised a Benefits Package as "Social Security paid by (employer) = 6.2% of taxable wages on behalf of employee", how would you interpret that? Trying to gauge my sanity. If an employer sent a benefits breakdown with a job offer that advertised as "Rewards of Benefits Provided" they would be paying "6.2% of taxable wages on behalf of the employee" for Social Security and "1.45% on behalf of the employee for Medicare", how would you interpret that?
