Please help… I want a car, but new is out of my budget. If I go used, what should I get? So, I’ve been looking at new cars. I want something like a Toyota Corolla cross, Subaru crosstrek, Honda HR V, Kia Seltos, or Hyundai Kona. However, where I live in California, those are all about $25k for the base model. So, that would land my monthly car payments around $450 a month (with a 60 month loan at 5%) and cause a $100/month insurance...
