Should I pay to fix my car? I have a 2013 Nissan Altima that I've owned since 2015. Just found out the transmission needs to be replaced, no other issues that I'm aware of. Cost to replace the transmission is $5,500 which is about what the value of the car is. I neither want to put that much into a car worth so little, nor do I want to buy a new car (or a new used car) but...
