LPT: Don't be fooled into thinking "Truffle Oil" contains actual truffles. 99% of the time it's just regular cooking oil with the chemical 2,4-dithiapentane added for artificial aroma. Many people might assume that "truffle oil" would be oil derived from truffles, or perhaps oil that has had truffles sitting in it for a while to impart truffle flavoring. Neither of those are true. Truffle Oil is usually just a base of almost any type of regular oil (canola, grapeseed, olive, etc) with the chemical 2,4-dithiapentane added. This...
