Why does the manual for my Nikon D3100 say to use a ferrite core with 3rd party USB cables?
Why does the manual for my Nikon D3100 say to use a ferrite core with 3rd party USB cables? It seems totally insane to me that this would prevent enough signal noise when transferring photos to make a difference in quality. Do people actually do this or am I right in assuming it's just nikon trying to get you you use their cables?
