Short term disability insurance. Is it a scam, and what is a reasonable amount per month. I work in a job with a fairly high accident rate, and lots of people get repetitive motion injuries or diabetes. My job is offering short term disability for the first time, but it's $80/month! I feel like this is way too high. And it's such a gamble. I would never get life insurance, and this feels similar? Or is it like renters insurance where...
