Best Rock, Punk or Metal bands this past year? I'm a old guy now. Radio was the way I discovered new bands. For a while there was a show called "Later with Jules Vern"* on BBC that I loved and found a couple new artists. Gary Clark Jr, St Vincent and Laura Marling all came from there.
