Has anyone heard of a doctors office charging a fee to send a bill? I had a doctors office call me to collect money form a recent visit. They said it is their policy to not send a bill, and to charge for it if I want one. While I don't dispute that I owe them money and am happy to pay, I need the bill for FSA and can't imagine paying to get a bill. Is this something anyone has heard of? Is this legal (I am in Ca...
