Dead space in our kitchen redesign. What should we do?
Dead space in our kitchen redesign. What should we do? We have a sunken living room off to the side of our kitchen. Because of that, we’re going to have this weird blank space that’s about a foot wide next to our cabinets. We’re doing a subway tile backsplash. Should I take that backsplash to the ceiling? Or should I just paint that 1ft x 3ft area above the backsplash? Would that look weird?
