Help with Fireplace We are under contract and closing soon on our new home (10 years old). We love everything about the house except the fireplace surround. The realtor listing refers to the houses as a French transitional design, but I’m not even sure what that means! Should we stain a darker color? Paint it? Change it completely? Leave as is? Open to all ideas!
