(US) wrote a $1000 check to apartment complex, they only withdrew $100. Apartment complex was recently taken over by a new company. They disabled online payments for the transition. My wife and I each wrote a Check for part of the rent, mine was $1000 hers was the remainder. My bank account now shows that the check was cashed for $100.
