Popular artists who have tackled a completely different genre with success? One of my favorite examples is The Osmonds. They go from the bubblegum and teen pop music like One Bad Apple and Yo-Yo, that were both top 40 hits, to a hard rock song like Crazy Horses, which was also a top charting song. What other popular artists have done a complete 180, even if it's for just a song and continued with their success?
